Split Gas Systems

When it comes to efficiency, split gas systems are one of the most reliable and safe units while still keeping your home cool or warm, depending on the season. These systems utilize parts both inside and outside your home and run off both electricity and gas to ensure you are comfortable in any weather condition.

Split Heat Pump Systems

While traditional heat pumps typically require ducts to disperse cool or warm air, split heat pump systems use conduits to connect a compressor outside your home to the handler inside. This type of system is more efficient and allows you to control the temperature of each individual room instead of simply regulating the temperature in your entire house.

Packaged Gas Systems

Instead of using components both inside and outside your home, a packaged system is a single unit that encases all of the system’s parts, including the compressor, coil, and handler. The unit is usually placed on your room if there is room, but they are occasionally placed on the side of your home. A packaged gas system uses gas to heat your home but utilizes electricity to cool it.

Packaged Heat Pump Systems

A packaged heat pump system looks the same as a packaged gas system, with all of its parts enclosed in a single unit. The difference is that instead of using gas and electricity to heat and cool your home, this system uses a heat pump for both. When you need to warm your home, the heat pump draws out cool air, and when you need to cool your home, it removes warm air.

Ductless Mini-Splits

Ductless mini-split systems use both indoor and outdoor components to keep your Arizona home at a comfortable temperature year round. The indoor unit sucks in air from your home and blows it across evaporator coils, where it is cooled or heated, depending on how you adjust the temperature in your home. The conduit carries the excess refrigerant to the outdoor unit, where it is dumped.

Garage Systems

If you spend a lot of time in your garage, you may want to install an HVAC system to keep it from being unbearably hot in the summer and freezing in the winter. At Howard Air, we can help you find the perfect system to regulate the temperature of your garage during the hot Arizona summers, whether we install an individual unit or extend the one from inside your home.

To keep your home at a comfortable temperature, you need a variety of HVAC controls. Choose from control panels, sensors, transducers, and air flow controllers to find a product that will help keep you’re your home at the right temperature.
